One-liner from Children’s World War One Poems

I’m almost at the end of my poetry residency with the Yarm1914 Commemoration Group. It’s always rewarding when children engage with the subject and produce memorable lines. Here’s the first in a series of one-liners:

‘Daddy, Daddy, is that you at the door?’
